Projects

  • Pharmaceutical Strategy & Commercialization

Served as a Healthcare Consultant on a pharmaceutical strategy project sponsored by Johnson & Johnson. I developed a comprehensive commercialization plan for a rare disease drug, including critical market segmentation, pricing recommendations, and innovative patient access models. This high-impact initiative focused on overcoming regulatory hurdles and ensuring equitable global distribution.

  • Commercialization: Stroke-Prevention Device

As a Healthcare Consultant at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in partnership with Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures (JHTV), I led the comprehensive commercialization strategy for an innovative stroke-prevention cardiac device. This crucial work, conducted in Baltimore, MD, focused on developing a robust market entry plan, conducting detailed competitive analysis, and assessing necessary regulatory pathways to successfully transition the medical technology from the lab into clinical practice. The goal was to accelerate patient access to this life-saving innovation.

  • Laerdal Global Health

As International Healthcare Consultant in Stavanger, Norway, I spearheaded the market entry strategy for the NeoBeat Mini device in low-resource settings. This involved comprehensive global market analysis, developing country-specific implementation plans, and managing key stakeholder engagement across diverse regions. I created robust financial projections and developed a scalable distribution model to ensure the successful, impactful launch of this essential technology, significantly contributing to global efforts aimed at reducing newborn mortality and improving infant survival rates globally.

  • Hospital Infrastructure Development

As a Medical Consultant for AB Hospital Ltd, Kumasi, Ghana, I provided clinical and strategic leadership for major infrastructure projects. This included spearheading the expansion of critical hospital service lines and the development of a new $2.5 million surgical unit. My guidance on resource allocation and procurement increased overall patient capacity by 35% and significantly improved access to high-quality specialized care for the community.

  • OT Hits The Streets

Led the "OT Hits The Streets" initiative, coordinating a team of 120-160 volunteers and 5 partner organizations to address immediate community needs. The project successfully provided meals to over 5,000 beneficiaries and connected approximately 400 individuals with social determinants of health (SDOH) resources, primarily focusing on food security referrals.

  • Breast Cancer Screening & Community Mobilization

Led the "Miles for Smiles – Breasts Matter" public health initiative, engaging between 300 and 600 community walkers to raise awareness for breast health. Secured and managed partnerships with Sonotech Ghana Limited and Euracare Multispecialist Hospital (Ghana) to facilitate the distribution of 150–300 screening vouchers. This successful collaboration directly improved access to critical early detection services.

  • Public Health Initiative

Directed the "Christmas Before Christmas" annual outreach drive, serving 1,200–1,800 beneficiaries per cycle in underserved communities. This community initiative successfully established 200–300 linkages to follow-up care for individuals identified with Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). This strategic, early intervention approach significantly improved long-term disease management and health outcomes in the target population.

  • Community Health Initiative

Founded and directed the "Pink October Art for Lives" campaign, successfully raising $5,000–$12,000 annually through art auctions to fund cancer screenings. The initiative generated between 80 and 140 free breast and prostate cancer screening referrals for vulnerable community members. This was achieved in strategic partnership with SCEF, leveraging local expertise for maximum public health impact.

  • Nutrition Awareness Campaign

I led a Nutrition Awareness Campaign reaching 800–1,200 households to address food insecurity. The project successfully modeled its operations on the Community Health Worker (CHW)-Managed Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) framework, resulting in 200–350 direct linkages to food-security resources. This model is now utilized to improve the efficiency and reach of future public health interventions across the region.
